American Security Challenge Awards Millions in Cash/Contracts
For our nation's security and prosperity many of the technologies needed to secure our short and long term national interests are still on the drawing board because there are not enough government resources to make them happen. Moreover, most innovators do not know how or with whom to talk to sell their idea.
The American Security Challenge, America's first emerging security technology competition devoted to our nation's long-term security, seeks to fill this gap in funding and assure the long term prosperity of our nation by providing the mechanism for innovative companies to get funding and contracts.
In conjunction with the 2009 Homeland Security S&T Stakeholders Conference East, presented by the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) with subject matter support provided by the Science & Technology Directorate (S&T) of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the American Security Challenge will host its second annual event May 21, 2009 at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, D.C.
The event seeks to provide vehicles for emerging technologies to gain funding, access to funding, contracts or other awards to assist their vision and initiative to secure our nation.
